A Day Camp Program for children with autism spectrum disorders including those with high functioning autism, Asperger's Syndrome, and PDD-NOS.

Quick Facts Regarding Camp SPECTACULAR

  • August 02-06, 2010 and August 09-13, 2010 at Clover Patch Camp in Glenville
  • Campers can enroll in one or two weeks
  • Campers must be between the ages of 9 and 16 years
  • Campers must have average or above average language skills
  • Campers must have demonstrated self-management skills in school and community settings

Program Details

  • The program is led by certified special education teachers and supported by experienced counselors
  • Programming consists of structured activities including team building, outdoor activities, athletic activities, swimming, arts and crafts, and music and drama
  • A licensed social worker, who specializes in working with children on the spectrum, will be on site and lead daily programming
  • Contact the camp office for fees

  • Enrollment is limited to 15 campers between 9-12 years of age, and 15 campers between 13-16 years of age; 30 each week total
  • Enrollment is contingent upon completion and approval of the camp spectacular application
  • Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the roster is full
