Who are the campers?
Children (minimum age 5) and adults (maximum age 90) with physical and/or developmental disabilities.
Who cannot attend?
In efforts to maintain a safe environment we cannot accomodate campers with behavioral disorders due to the lack of staff trained in this area.
What disabilities are served at Clover Patch?
Each session consists of a mix of disabilities including (but not limited to) mental retardation, autism, Asperger's Disorder, cerebral palsy, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and muscular dystrophy.
What is the camper to staff ratio?
2 campers to 1 staff person
How do I pay for Camp?
Financial assistance is available for campers who quailfy. Campers requesting financial assistance are required to complete the financial assistance form found in the camper application.
What medical care is provided?
A Registered Nurse (RN) is on site 24 hours per day to dispense medications, execute tube feedings, and attend to other medical needs campers have.
How many campers attend each session?
A maximum of 24 campers attend per session.
Is transportation provided?
Transportation to and from camp is the responsibility of the camper.
Is the camper able to attend more than one session?
Campers are first guarenteed one session of camp (if available, campers are accepted to camp on a first-come-first-serve basis). If multiple sessions are requested; if space is available by May 15 in other sessions the camper is able to attend multiple sessions.
